Maria Carvalho is a UK-qualified Portuguese pharmacist with a PhD in Pharmaceutics: Personalized Medicines by the University College of London (UCL). During her 15 years of experience, Maria practiced in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry, in Europe and the USA. She was a teaching assistant at the UCL School of Pharmacy (UK) and an invited teacher at the University Fernando Pessoa (Portugal).
Maria has authored/co-authored many scientific publications and her thesis, with +5,500 downloads from over 100 countries worldwide, is one of the most downloaded from the UCL open-access repository. Maria is the manager of PCCA Science at Professional Compounding Centers of America.
